Tasting Notes: Slightly sweet and peaty smoke on the nose. Burnt caramel and vanilla up front, then cherry/anise/coffee notes, followed by a peaty scotch finish. 

We created our 1930 Smoked Rum as a tribute to the Sin Ship Monfalcone which caught fire and burned to its’ waterline on August 30, 1930. Water taxis sped to the burning ship to rescue the crew and roughly 350 patrons at play and transported them to the nearby Sin Ship Johanna Smith. According to lore, the gamblers boarded the Johanna Smith, ordered a cocktail and gambled/danced/partied into the wee hours of the night without missing a beat.

Ingredients:
2 Parts 1930 Smoked Rum
½ Part Banana Liqueur
½ Part Chocolate Liqueur
Pinch of Salt

Instructions:
Stir the ingredients and strain into a short glass. Add one large ice cube. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.

Ingredients:
2 Parts 1930 Smoked Rum
¼ Part Amaro Liqueur
¼ Part Coffee Liqueur
1/8 Part Simple Syrup
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
2 Dashes Angostura Bitters
1 Flamed Orange Peel

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain either “up” or over a large ice cube.

Mojito

Ingredients:
6 Mint Leaves
2 oz. SinShip 1930 Smoked Rum
3/4 oz. Simple Syrup
1 oz. Lime Juice
2 Drops Angostura Bitters

Instructions:
In a shaker, gently muddle the mint and simple syrup. Add the remaining ingredients and shake with ice. Add to a rocks glass with crushed ice. Garnish with mint sprig.

Ingredients:
2 Parts 1930 Smoked Rum
¾ Part Passion-Vanilla Syrup
½ Part Falernum
¾ Part Lemon Juice

Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain either “up” or over ice. Garnish with a cherry.

Mai Tai

Ingredients:
1 oz. SinShip 1930 Smoked Rum
1 oz. SinShip 'Charon the Ferryman' Silver Rum
3/4 oz. Orgeat
1/2 oz. Orange Liqueur
1/4 oz Simple Syrup
1 Lime Juiced
1 Sprig Fresh Mint
Instructions:
Fill a rocks glass with 1 cup crushed ice. Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add 1 cup ice, cover & shake until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass. Garnish with 1/2 of the lime shell inside the drink and float a sprig of fresh mint on the edge of the glass.

Ingredients:
2 Parts 1930 Smoked Rum
1 Part Apricot Liqueur
1 Coconut Liqueur
1 Part Lime Juice

Instructions:
Add all ingredients and crushed ice to a shaker. Shake and strain into a Tiki glass. Garnish with mint and a shake of cinnamon on top.

1 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup

Instructions:
Shake all the ingredients with ice, then strain into a coupe. Garnish with the lime wedge.
